Well Folks!
That time in life has come! Yes kids its our 50th class reunion! This promises to be a lot of fun!

May 11, 12th 2016
Pechanga Resort and Casino
Temecula, Calif.

There is a BBQ on the 11th that you won't want to miss! It is a great place to re-connect with old friends and mingle! We are working on the details now but good food, good conversation and good fun seemed to be involved!
On the 12th we are planning a nice dinner with more of the same!
I hope these email addresses are good! I would love to hear from you if you think you might be able to make it! Any ideas you might have to make this spectacular are always good!
If you have any updates on fellow classmates the information would be welcomed! I am trying to get hold of as many of us as possible! Please send me the info at Pattisplc@aol-dot-com. I can also be reached on Facebook under Patti Kiehl. Make sure you get the Patti with an i as Patty is my sister-in-law!.
If you want to be removed from the list please let me know as I hope to send out updates for the events as we get stuff nailed down!
Hopefully this reaches you guys and finds you well and happy! I am looking forward to seeing so many people!
More info coming your way soon! Get your reservations in!

Top Ten Reasons For Going To our 50th Year Reunion:

  1. You'll laugh, cry and reminisce with some of your oldest friends.
  2. You don't have to lie about your age.
  3. You'll feel better realizing you are not the only one who has been married, divorced, married, divorced and maybe still looking.
  4. For the alumni coming to their first reunion, let's make them feel appreciated for finally showing up.
  5. Rekindle old or begin new relationships, after all we don't have that much time.
  6. Expand your networking opportunities, Good Luck..
  7. Enjoy an evening out without the grand kids.
  8. Use this as an excuse to diet and shape up. We can all use this..
  9. Humor the reunion organizers we are a deluded bunch of diehards who think everyone should show up to appreciate all our efforts.
  10. Studies have shown that those who were initially hesitant about attending their reunions discover it was an event they wouldn't have missed! Remember this will be the Epic Event or our 1966 journey. Dont be left out, there will not be another 50th Reunion.

Top Six Excuses For NOT Going (and why they don't work):

  1. I'm overweight.
Rebuttal: You're not alone; you will all forget this issue when you see the Buffet.
  2. I'm a different person than I was in high school
Rebuttal: Lucky for you, we all are. Let's face it: we could only have improved. We can only hope..
  3. I don't look as good as I'd like. I (choose one or more) am bald, have wrinkles, saddlebags, grey hair and no one will recognize me.
Rebuttal: Guess what! You won't recognize anyone else, either. Using the reunion organizers as a representative sample, our whole class looks like a "before" photo in a plastic surgery ad.
  4. I'm not successful. I'm not (choose one or more) a lawyer, a doctor or rich.
Rebuttal: You'll be pleasantly surprised to find how much everyone has matured. We may be plump and wrinkled (see Excuse #3, above) but we're not stupid. Money is not success. Actually the lawyers, doctors and the rich are still working.
  5. I was not in a popular clique in school
Rebuttal: Now that we're old and smart, those cliques have dissolved just like the superficialities they were based on. The only cliques you'll notice at the reunion will be the sound of your joints as you walk around.
  6. I have nothing in common with my classmates.
Rebuttal Oh yes you do, Grandkids, Great Grandkids. How about Pensions, Social Security, Medicare, Hip and Knee Replacements, heart procedures and more. There are always the possibilities of comparing medications.

So now that you have no good reason not to attend. We look forward to seeing you at our 50th Class Reunion in May 2016. No Excuses.
